About Us

Dear Traveler,

Wolfe Adventures & Tours' story 'technically' begins in 2002.

(My husband always wants to know what it means when I say technically. So if you're wondering, you're in good company!) I mean here that my vision started much earlier. In 2002...we became legal as I walked down to my town hall and registered my company.

I love travel and want others to experience the sights, the sounds, the smells, the local people. I want you to spend time at your destination. And get to know what it might be like to live there. That's why I'm working with others on our small group getaways. That's why I love working with groups on customized & receptive tours to New England, NYC and DC.

Traveling brings people together. And I think it's a start to learning more about others and where they come from...how they might think about things. And maybe people might see that we're all more alike than we are different. It's a thought. A good thought I think. Who cares if it's corny!

Another important aspect I believe in is taking care of our environment and where we live. The tours give back to the communities. We are working with carbon-offsetting travel. We do the every day things too ~ recycle, use bio-bricks in the wood stoves, turn off the computers & lights when not in use.

We also contract, whenever possible, with hotels, sites and coach companies that do their part to help out too. This can be using exhaust systems that regenerates the exhaust, using Hybrid vehicles, recycling in the office and home, and recycling old toilets. (The toilets got 'ground up' as materials by the way!)

Be on the look-out for a page with great links on how you can help out and more details about our business partners and what we do.

I plan to be in travel a long time. So come (you know what) or high water - I'll be here!

If you'd like to drop me a line, please feel free to do so: taunya@wolfetours.com.

If you'd like to see what folks have said about our tours, ask for references.

We've tried to put quite a few quotes from past travelers & companies throughout the website too.

We're growing and things are busy. So that's great. And I always try my best to have time for you.

Happy travels...no matter who you go with or where you go!

Take care,

Taunya Wolfe Finn,

Owner & Traveler

As a local guide company, our guides have a combined guiding experience spanning decades. Each of us are enthusiastic about showing our travelers the sites in and around Boston. Our guides are trained in not just history, but in the stories of yesterday and today. They know how to interact with groups, know the areas and keep track of today’s changing world.

Many stay involved with local chapters of International Tour Management Institute, The Appalachian Club and the Greater Boston Tour Guide Association, attending seminars and conferences each year, staying attune to the tourism industry.
